he loves playing with the wooden dolls that come with a double-decker bus, that my parents had given my nephew. He wasn't playing with it anymore, so Valentin inherited it.

I was doing some grocery shopping the other day and I saw this can of Root Beer. It brought back instant memories of making our own Root Beer in Papua New Guinea or buying it in the "Teen Centre" (our place to hang out).

So I bought a can, put in the fridge and then went for it today. Too bad I didn't have any vanilla icecream in the freezer, or I would've made a Float!!! yummy. But the Root Beer sure tasted good and very familiar. Pascal tried it and really like it as well. So it looks like I'm gonna have to buy this more often. :)

looking out my window, while sitting behind the computer in my scrapspace, I saw a bird's nest in the arbour, at the back of our yard. Using my telelens, I wanted to get a photo of it. Mind you, I was still inside, seeing as it is pouring rain. But while zooming in, I noticed this very pretty picture and decided that would be my photo of the day.

Yesterday, I left for Schoorl with three girlfriends. We went on a great beachwalk, had an awesome dinner and watch DVD's in our beachhome.

So I've started a photoblog to help me keep up with the POTD challenge. But seeing as I've got photos on two different computers, I can't upload everything yet.
